1. Acceptance of Terms

By using COSR.AI, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms, and to abide by and comply with these Terms. If you are under 18 years of age (or the age of majority), you may use the Service only with involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

2. Description of Service

COSR.AI provides a free online tool to check the production date and estimated expiration date of cosmetic products based on their batch codes. The Service also includes informational content related to cosmetic products, batch codes, and shelf life. The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind.

We are constantly changing and improving our Service. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether. You can stop using our Service at any time.

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate batch code information for checking. The accuracy of the results depends on the accuracy of the information you provide and the data available in our system.
• Not misusing the Service. For example, do not interfere with our Service or try to access it using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide. This includes, but is not limited to, excessive automated queries, attempting to scrape data, or reverse-engineering the batch code decoding logic.
• Complying with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Service if we believe you are violating these Terms or using the Service in a manner that could harm COSR.AI or its users.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users, if any), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of COSR.AI and its licensors. This includes, but is not limited to, the COSR.AI name, logo, website design, text, graphics, software, and the compilation of information in our database (to the extent protectable). The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of COSR.AI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

5. Accuracy of Information and Disclaimer of Warranties

COSR.AI strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information. However, the interpretation of batch codes can be complex and varies between brands and even product lines. Information regarding production dates, expiration dates, and shelf life is based on data provided by brands, industry standards, and our proprietary algorithms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COSR.AI MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, SUITABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE OR THE INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR RELATED GRAPHICS CONTAINED ON THE SITE FOR ANY PURPOSE. ANY RELIANCE YOU PLACE ON SUCH INFORMATION IS THEREFORE STRICTLY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Specifically, COSR.AI does not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• The results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable for every brand or batch code.
• The quality of any products, services, information, or other material obtained by you through the Service will meet your expectations.
• Any errors in the Service will be corrected.

The information provided by COSR.AI is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional advice or the information provided directly by the cosmetic manufacturer. Always check product packaging for specific instructions and expiration guidelines (such as Period After Opening symbols). If you have concerns about a product's safety or suitability, consult the manufacturer or a qualified professional.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL COSR.AI, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE; ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND EVEN IF A REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN IS FOUND TO HAVE FAILED OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) TEN DOLLARS ($10.00 USD).

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless COSR.AI and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

8. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by COSR.AI. COSR.AI has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that COSR.AI shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.

We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.

9. Modifications to Terms or Service

COSR.AI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.

We also reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) at any time with or without notice to you.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which COSR.AI operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and COSR.AI regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the Service.
